With the roof now weather tight, the City of Waltham has hired Red Hawk Studio Architects, Inc. to conduct a study of the entire building envelope to help prioritize its many preservation needs. A structural engineer from Structures North was on site with architect Karle Packard yesterday to evaluate columns, colonettes, framing members and the shed dormer. Study results should be available in a couple of months, in time for construction in 2020. This project is made possible with Community Preservation Art funding.
